Tasting Room & Retail Associate​ (Sundays only)

 

We are seeking support for our Tasting Room & Retail Sales for our Sunday mead tastings and retail store! Our associates are ambassadors for Mānoa Honey & Mead and are responsible for creating a welcoming and positive environment for visitors at our Mead Garden and Honey House (retail store).
 

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone

• Assist with set-up, host and service mead tastings for guests

• Conduct friendly and personable sales and process payment within retail store

• Keep tasting room and retail store clean and stocked with product

• Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $14 per hour

Schedule: Sundays, 8-hr shift (10am - 6pm)

         Experienced Beekeeper and Tour Lead

​

Responsible for general hive maintenance such as; honey and bee pollen harvest, integrated pest management and periodical field maintenance. A lead host for our experience tour “Bees to Mead” on a weekly basis and spearheading the creation of additional tour experiences. A person who has passion about beekeeping, knowledge of biology and beekeeping and great communication skills to host and share the stories at the farm tour will be a great fit.

Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on the position and experience
