Oh, Java Plum Rosé. How we love your botanical uniqueness.

Java Plum Rose from Manoa Honey & Mead

The Java Plum tree is found throughout the island of Oahu. Near our North Shore apiary site, there are rows of Java Plum trees tucked into the mountain range. There, we climb on ladders and truck hoods to harvest our own supply of Java Plum fruit. Sometimes, we're brave enough to pop one into our mouths, and scrunch our noses at its astringent tartness.

The skin of the fruit is a deep purple color, which creates a gorgeous rosé sparkling mead. Co-fermented with mamane honey, our Java Plum Rosé has well-balanced acidity in the light fizz, a velvety texture with notes of red currants and stonefruits.

A staff and customer favorite, we know this rosé will never go out of style.

The image of you guys balancing on truck hoods to grab Java Plums is way more romantic than the astringent face you make after tasting one—that's real dedication to the craft. I’ve been meaning to try a botanical mead like this, so I’m definitely checking out https://veovideoai.com

The image of you guys balancing on truck hoods to grab Java Plums is way more badass than I expected from a rosé—that astringent scrunch-face is exactly how I feel about my first sip, but it grows on you. I've been hunting for more meads with that kind of island terroir, so check out https://hy-3d.net

The image of you guys on truck hoods harvesting Java Plums is exactly the kind of dedication I love to hear about—that astringent scrunch is a rite of passage. I’ve been looking for a rosé with this much character, so I’m heading over to check out https://3daimaker.com
