Honey harvest in Hawaii goes just like this!
Thanks to our volunteers, Gigi, Stephen and Clara, for coming to help us out! You all made our first harvest of 2024 a breeze.
We had so many people offer to volunteer, we wish we could have taken everyone!
But, stay tuned! More honey coming!
Congrats on the first harvest! It's awesome that Gigi, Stephen, and Clara showed up to help — having extra hands really does make the whole process feel less daunting. I've always wondered how different Hawaiian honey tastes compared to what we get on the mainland, probably something about all that tropical flora. Speaking of the harvest photos, I actually ran a couple of mine through a low quality image maker just for fun to give them that grainy, old-school look for a throwback post, and it was oddly satisfying. Anyway, looking forward to hearing more about the next batch!

This first harvest post reminds me how much seasonal photos are worth keeping. I turned a few garden snapshots into sticker sheets with a Sticker Maker Online, and the crop editing made it easy to focus on the best details. Twelve stickers per sheet feels generous for sharing with family.
